The Overdrive Series brings the unmistakable look of a classic British amp head to your rack setup. A recessed inner frame with stylish lipped piping gives it that true "amp head" silhouette — built from ¾" cabinet-grade plywood, finished in your choice of Tolex, and fitted with reinforced round-over corners in black or nickel.

The Overdrive Series started with a question: why does every rack case look like a black box? Inspired by the refined lines of British-style amp heads — the piped edges, the recessed baffles, the purposeful geometry — the Overdrive brings genuine amp character to your rig. It's not a costume. It's a construction choice, executed in premium materials and built to last.

⚠ Build Depth Notice Due to the recessed frame and lipped piping panel construction, the Overdrive Series requires a minimum interior recess depth of 1.25" — deeper than a standard ¾" build. This is accounted for in every Overdrive case we build. If you have specific depth requirements, note them in your order or reach out before purchasing.

The defining Overdrive feature — a precision-set recessed frame finished with stylish lipped piping that replicates the classic amp head look. Every angle is intentional, every edge deliberate.
Piping Options That Make It Yours
Gold tinsel, silver tinsel, silver & gold tinsel, solid gold, solid black, solid white — the piping finish is its own customization layer. Mix and match with your Tolex for a look nobody else has.
Reinforced Round-Over Corners
Plastic ¾" radius corners with rivet option — available in black or nickel. Cases with this corner style are built with the modern 1.5" edge profile to accommodate the corner radius and piped recessed frame properly.
¾" Cabinet-Grade Plywood
Furniture-grade hardwood throughout — not particle board, not MDF. The same material that made vintage amp cabinets legendary, applied to a rack case built for the road.
Customizable Tolex Finishes
Black Bronco, Brown Crocodile Skin, Electric Blue Snakeskin, and more — or bring your own finish. The Overdrive's recessed frame makes any Tolex look like it was designed for a boutique amp.
